It’s been a really slow start to winter this year. We haven’t had any snow at our house in Buena Vista yet. Ya know what that means? A longer mountain biking and swimming season.

Dad went to Florida last weekend. I’m still not sure exactly what that means, but I got to spend the whole weekend with mom. She worked on homework a lot, but she also took me for a bike ride. I love the trails in BV because we can ride right from our house and I get to stop at the river to swim, before AND after our ride.

We rode up the Camp Elevation trail to County Road 304 and then rode the South Broken Boyfriend trail. Mom had a pretty good crash on this trail, and I went cruising right on by her. Maybe they should call it South Broken Mom trail. Hehe. JK! She was fine! We finished going down the South Trail and then to the North bridge for a swim. I sure do love living in a town with super fun single track trails and a river for cooling off!
