Mission
Tucker Group is a VA certified, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with the Veterans Administration. We take what we have learned in the military about values, dedication, and commitment to the commercial environment. Tucker Group was established in 2016 with a mission of seeking out and fulfilling the needs of various US government agencies and departments.
Military & Aviation Experience
Tucker Group is a veteran owned business started by former Marine, Edmond Tucker. Tucker served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps with two combat tours in Iraq as a UH-1/Huey Crew Chief. He is a two time graduate of the USMC Weapons and Tactics Instructor course in military aviation combat and a certified Quality Assurance representative. Tucker has also earned his Federal Flight Administration (FAA) A&P License as an aerospace mechanic. He completed a one year contract in Afghanistan on helicopters for the Department of State. In 2014 he was an AH-1 mechanic in Germany for the DoD and has 10+ years experience in the military and aviation fields.
About Edmond Tucker
After serving as a mechanic in Germany, Tucker moved to Honduras and completed his Dive Master courses and graduated as a Scuba Diving Instructor. In 2018 he spent several months in Cambodia working for an NGO charity. And in February 2019 he graduated with a degree in International Relations. After completing his degree, Tucker went to work a contract under the National Science Foundation and the US Antarctic Program at McMurdo Station in Antarctica for 6 months. Tucker is an avid traveler and adventurer preparing to circumnavigate the globe on his sailboat. He is currently waiting to leave for Baghdad, Iraq in late 2020/ early 2021, to continue air crew member duties on UH-1 Bell helicopters.
